Oath of the Artisan

I stand before the light of the Arcanum to bind my spirit to the forge and the loom.
I renounce all I have gathered until this day; I cast aside my past possessions, for they bear not the mark of my own hands and thus hold no true place in my life.
By this word, I forsake the charity of others; no hand but mine shall shape my tools, and no labor but mine shall define my craft.
I take pride in the resonance of my work, for it is the echo of my own soul.
I pledge my steel and my spells to the defense of all realms, and I swear my eternal allegiance to the Arcanum.
