The Beekeeper's Almanac

Found onBookshelf
Wild hives hang in every Meadow. The bees that work them will never trouble you, and each hive will spare a little honeycomb for every traveler who comes to it, once. Take your share and leave the hive standing for the next.

Render comb in a cauldron. The honey runs off and the wax stays behind. Combine a vial of water, honey, and a red mushroom in a cauldron to make a healing potion. A cake of wax and a little fiber make a candle at a mason's table, and no lamp is lit without one.

A word to the impatient: there is honey in every meadow, for anyone willing to walk to it.
